  • What is a Bill of Materials (BOM)?

    A BOM is an itemized list containing each unique component to be installed on a finished assembly. Every BOM must contain:

    1. Manufacturer’s Part Number of the Component

    2. Reference Designator associated with each part placed on the PCB.

    3. Quantity of each unique component to be installed on the PCB

  • What is a Component Placement List (CPL)?

    A CPL is a file containing the X and Y locations of every part to be placed on a PCB. A CPL must contain:

    1. The X and Y locations of each component

    2. The reference designator of each component

    3. The side of the board each component is to be placed (Top or Bottom).

    4. The rotation of each component.

  • When does my Turn Time Begin?

    Your assembly turn time begins when all parts and PCBs for your assembly build have been received. The day the last missing part of your kit has been received is considered day zero. For example, if you ordered a 5-day turn and the last part was received this afternoon, today would be considered day zero as we have already lost most of today’s production time. Your order would be due to ship in five business days starting tomorrow.
